How To Uninstall edubuntu-server-container On Ubuntu 16.10

To uninstall edubuntu-server-container just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just edubuntu-server-container

Edubuntu server (common dependencies and scripts for containers)Ubuntu 16.10universe/metapackages15.01build1
sudo apt-get remove edubuntu-server-container

This will remove just the edubuntu-server-container package itself.

Uninstall edubuntu-server-container and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove edubuntu-server-container

This will remove the edubuntu-server-container package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for edubuntu-server-container then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge edubuntu-server-container

Or similarly, like this edubuntu-server-container

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove edubuntu-server-container
