How To Uninstall ejabberd-mod-logxml On Ubuntu 16.10

To uninstall ejabberd-mod-logxml just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ejabberd-mod-logxml

logs XMPP packets to an XML fileUbuntu 16.10universe/net0.2016.08.01~dfsg0-1
sudo apt-get remove ejabberd-mod-logxml

This will remove just the ejabberd-mod-logxml package itself.

Uninstall ejabberd-mod-logxml and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ejabberd-mod-logxml

This will remove the ejabberd-mod-logxml package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ejabberd-mod-logxml then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ejabberd-mod-logxml

Or similarly, like this ejabberd-mod-logxml

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ejabberd-mod-logxml
