How To Uninstall ejabberd-mod-post-log On Ubuntu 16.10

To uninstall ejabberd-mod-post-log just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ejabberd-mod-post-log

linuxlogs all messages to an HTTP APIuniverse/net0.2016.08.01~dfsg0-1
sudo apt-get remove ejabberd-mod-post-log

This will remove just the ejabberd-mod-post-log package itself.

Uninstall ejabberd-mod-post-log and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ejabberd-mod-post-log

This will remove the ejabberd-mod-post-log package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ejabberd-mod-post-log then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ejabberd-mod-post-log

Or similarly, like this ejabberd-mod-post-log

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ejabberd-mod-post-log
