How To Uninstall elastichosts-utils On Ubuntu 16.10

To uninstall elastichosts-utils just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just elastichosts-utils

Utilities for interacting with ElasticHostsUbuntu 16.10universe/utils20090817-0ubuntu1
sudo apt-get remove elastichosts-utils

This will remove just the elastichosts-utils package itself.

Uninstall elastichosts-utils and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove elastichosts-utils

This will remove the elastichosts-utils package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for elastichosts-utils then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge elastichosts-utils

Or similarly, like this elastichosts-utils

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove elastichosts-utils
