How To Uninstall r-bioc-iranges On Ubuntu 16.10

To uninstall r-bioc-iranges just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just r-bioc-iranges

GNU R low-level containers for storing sets of integer rangesUbuntu 16.10universe/gnu-r2.6.1-1
sudo apt-get remove r-bioc-iranges

This will remove just the r-bioc-iranges package itself.

Uninstall r-bioc-iranges and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove r-bioc-iranges

This will remove the r-bioc-iranges package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for r-bioc-iranges then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge r-bioc-iranges

Or similarly, like this r-bioc-iranges

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove r-bioc-iranges
