How To Uninstall r-bioc-qvalue On Ubuntu 16.10

To uninstall r-bioc-qvalue just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just r-bioc-qvalue

GNU R package for Q-value estimation for FDR controlUbuntu 16.10universe/gnu-r2.4.0-1
sudo apt-get remove r-bioc-qvalue

This will remove just the r-bioc-qvalue package itself.

Uninstall r-bioc-qvalue and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove r-bioc-qvalue

This will remove the r-bioc-qvalue package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for r-bioc-qvalue then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge r-bioc-qvalue

Or similarly, like this r-bioc-qvalue

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove r-bioc-qvalue
