How To Uninstall r-cran-minpack.lm On Ubuntu 16.10

To uninstall r-cran-minpack.lm just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just r-cran-minpack.lm

GNU R Levenberg-Marquardt nonlinear least-squares algorithm found in MINPACKUbuntu 16.10universe/gnu-r1.2-0-1
sudo apt-get remove r-cran-minpack.lm

This will remove just the r-cran-minpack.lm package itself.

Uninstall r-cran-minpack.lm and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove r-cran-minpack.lm

This will remove the r-cran-minpack.lm package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for r-cran-minpack.lm then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge r-cran-minpack.lm

Or similarly, like this r-cran-minpack.lm

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove r-cran-minpack.lm
