How To Uninstall rainbows On Ubuntu 16.10

To uninstall rainbows just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just rainbows

HTTP server for sleepy Rack applicationsUbuntu 16.10universe/ruby5.0.0-2
sudo apt-get remove rainbows

This will remove just the rainbows package itself.

Uninstall rainbows and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove rainbows

This will remove the rainbows package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for rainbows then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge rainbows

Or similarly, like this rainbows

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove rainbows
