How To Uninstall taskd On Ubuntu 16.10

To uninstall taskd just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just taskd

Synchronisation server for taskwarriorUbuntu 16.10universe/utils1.1.0+dfsg-2build1
sudo apt-get remove taskd

This will remove just the taskd package itself.

Uninstall taskd and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove taskd

This will remove the taskd package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for taskd then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge taskd

Or similarly, like this taskd

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove taskd
