How To Uninstall tcode On Ubuntu 16.10

To uninstall tcode just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just tcode

create a Java file from an associated LaTex fileUbuntu 16.10universe/java0.1.20080918-2
sudo apt-get remove tcode

This will remove just the tcode package itself.

Uninstall tcode and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove tcode

This will remove the tcode package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for tcode then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge tcode

Or similarly, like this tcode

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove tcode
