How To Uninstall tcptrace On Ubuntu 16.10

To uninstall tcptrace just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just tcptrace

Tool for analyzing tcpdump outputUbuntu 16.10universe/net6.6.7-4.1
sudo apt-get remove tcptrace

This will remove just the tcptrace package itself.

Uninstall tcptrace and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove tcptrace

This will remove the tcptrace package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for tcptrace then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge tcptrace

Or similarly, like this tcptrace

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove tcptrace
