How To Uninstall trafficserver-dbg On Ubuntu 16.10

To uninstall trafficserver-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just trafficserver-dbg

debug symbols for Apache Traffic ServerUbuntu 16.10universe/debug5.3.0-2ubuntu2
sudo apt-get remove trafficserver-dbg

This will remove just the trafficserver-dbg package itself.

Uninstall trafficserver-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove trafficserver-dbg

This will remove the trafficserver-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for trafficserver-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge trafficserver-dbg

Or similarly, like this trafficserver-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove trafficserver-dbg
